Michael Adaralewa, the Oyo State Commandant of the NSCDC, encouraged the officers to apply the skills they would learn during the training to make the people of the state more safe.

“I implore you to submit yourselves for the protection of the lives and property of the people of the state by putting your training expertise to use.” “Let this be evident in your service delivery for the sake of the state’s safety,” he stated.
Kabir Baffa, the Head of the Training Department of the Oyo State NSCDC, emphasized the need of arming the corps’ commanders and soldiers with information that will improve their effectiveness.
“You must comprehend the effective manner of safeguarding the defenseless because this is the country’s sole assignment-saddled security agency,” he stated. It is a calamity if the cops who are expected to protect do not know how to protect.”
During a lecture on the importance of information gathering for effective policing as a tool in successful operations, the Deputy Commandant of Corps, Soji Akingbade, who is the Head of Intelligence and Investigation Department, stated that no operation would be successful without credible and timely intelligence gathering.
He urged participants and the general public to constantly provide credible information regarding happiness in their jurisdiction to the corps.
While commenting on the unique tactics required for surveillance at worship centers in Oyo State, Deputy Commandant, Oladeji Patunola, the Corps’s Head of Operations in the state, emphasized the need of knowing the atmosphere, particularly during Friday and Sunday worship sessions.
