On Friday night, a Chinese expatriate assassinated a Nigerian lady, Ummukhulsum Sani Buhari, commonly known as Ummita, in Jambulo, Kofar Dukayuwa, Kano State.
Journalist discovered that Ummita, a member of the well-known Ummukulsum family from the northern state, was dating a Chinese guy. According to some stories, the Asian was simply a suitor.
A minor disagreement allegedly happened, forcing the accused to constantly contact Ummita, who was stated to have ignored his calls. He then went to their house and continuously banged on the door, which enraged Ummita’s mother, who decided to confront him.
The Chinese shoved her as she opened the door and went right in, where he slashed, stabbed, and slit Ummita’s neck.
