Sirajo Ahmed, a 25-year-old teacher at the Royal Science Academy School in Bauchi State, was detained for allegedly defiling a seven-year-old kid.
Ahmed allegedly committed the act in his office on the school grounds in Alkaleri, Bauchi State, in the Alkaleri Local Government Area.
The police also verified the arrest of Sani Musa, 35, an ice cream vendor, for reportedly having anal sexual intercourse with a 12-year-old boy. Ahmed Wakil, the state police public relations officer, confirmed the development in a statement made on Tuesday, September 13.
“Around 9.30am on September 6, 2022, a team of detectives attached to the Alkaleri Division detained one Sirajo Ahmed, 25, of the Royal Science Academy, Alkaleri, for defiling his seven-year-old pupil,” according to the statement.
“According to information received by the division, on August 13, 2022, at 10 a.m., Ahmed, of Unguwan Ajiya Alkaleri, who is a classroom teacher at the Royal Science Academic School, Alkaleri, deceitfully enticed his seven-year-old child into his office at the said school and defiled her.” The suspect readily confessed to the crime throughout the investigation.
“Similarly, on September 6, 2022, at 9 a.m., detectives from the Alkaleri Division responded to a tip and arrested one Sani Musa, 35, an ice cream vendor, for having anal sexual intercourse with a 12-year-old boy.” The suspect readily confessed to the crime during interrogation.”
