
CSP Jogbojogbo Decorated at the Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service Headquarters, Abuja

The Central District of the Federal Capital Territory today Monday witnessed a moment of honor and celebration as CSP Wahab Adebayo Jogbojogbo, author of the inspirational work One Step Ahead of One Chance Robbers and other Criminals, was formally decorated during a ceremonial event held at the Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service NAQS Headquarters, Abuja.

The decoration ceremony, which attracted senior government officials, security personnels, friends, families and well-wishers, was presided over by the top management of the Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service, who described CSP Jogbojobo as a disciplined officer, a good man and a symbol of commitment to national service beyond the call of duty.
The ceremony formally commenced with an opening speech delivered on behalf of the Comptroller-General CG of the Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service by the Assistant Comptroller-General ACG, Isiaka Ahmed. In his address, ACG Ahmed conveyed the CG’s commendation of CSP Wahab Jogbojogbo’s professionalism and dedication to duty, emphasizing on his hard work and good character as a Police officer. He noted that the decoration underscored NAQS’ commitment to honoring excellence and integrity within Nigeria’s security architecture.

This was followed by a recitation led by DSQ Jeremiah Opuu, who set a reflective tone for the event. The recitation highlighted CSP Wahab Jogbojogbo bio on his discipline, education and years of service as a Police Officer.
The decoration of CSP Wahab Adebayo Jogbojogbo was formally conducted by top management official of the Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service, under the leadership of the Assistant Comptroller-General (ACG), Isiaka Ahmed, who represented the Comptroller-General (CG) of the Service at the ceremony and his beautiful wife Mrs. Rashidat Bola Jogbojogbo.
Several dignitaries and senior officials took turns to deliver goodwill remarks. Among them was the Head of Animal Quarantine, DCQ Emeka Esiegbu, who described CSP Jogbojogbo as a security professional whose career reflects intelligence-led policing and proactive crime prevention. He encouraged CSP Wahab to remain steadfast, place his trust in God and continue to deepen his professional growth, noting that resilience and sustained commitment would be essential in navigating the challenges inherent in his career path.
Also speaking was the Head of Legal Services, Barrister R. C. Osuj, who commended CSP Jogbojogbo’s adherence to the rule of law, his intelligence and ethical conduct in the court. He noted that effective security measures taken by CPS Jogbojogbo on legality, accountability, and respect for institutional frameworks, qualities he has consistently demonstrated. He further wished him well in the quest of life.

The event also highlighted CSP Jogbojogbo’s intellectual contribution to security discourse. He is the author of the book One Step Ahead of One Chance Robbers and Other Criminals, a work widely acknowledged for its practical insights into criminal behavior, personal safety and preventive security strategies. Speakers at the event noted that the book reflects the honouree’s field experience and commitment to empowering citizens and professionals with knowledge.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by CSP Jogbojogbo’s wife, Mrs. Rashidat Bola Jogbojogbo who expressed heartfelt appreciation to the leadership of NAQS, the Nigeria Police Force, family members, colleagues and friends for their support and encouragement. She described the honour as a collective recognition of sacrifice, resilience and shared commitment to service.
The decoration ceremony ended on a celebratory note with group photographs and informal interactions, as guests commended CSP Wahab Adebayo Jogbojogbo for a career defined by diligence, professionalism and impact.
